South Jakarta Nakertrans Sub-dept. Held Driving Training

South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) held driving training for 300 people to reduce unemployment in their area. The training is divided into five groups for each month. People who join this training will also get car driver license (SIM A).

This activity is proposed from citizen's aspiration that submitted through 65 urban villages

South Jakarta Nakertrans Sub-dept. Head, Chrisnawati Sulistyaningrum, said that driving training is given to the poor who also unemployed. There are 1,000 enthusiasts in total. But after urban village level selection, the number decreased to 600 person.

She added that her side already proposed those 600 people can join the training. But, Planning and Regional Development Institution (Bappeda) only accepted 300 person. Thus her side must filter half of them.

"This year will be 300 South Jakarta citizena who will receive car driving training until they get car driving license (SIM A). This activity is proposed from citizen's aspiration that submitted through 65 urban villages," she said, Monday (2/6).

The training is planned will be start on February 9 and opened by South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi. Each participant will join training for 10 days. One day for theory, and 9 days for driving practice.

"At early stage, training will be given to Setiabudi and Tebet citizens. For each car will be used by four participants," she closed.
